This version of concrete box was originally designed and destined to be used as a urn for the loved one of a close friend.

Pretty simple and clean design overall. 4 finger recesses allow of easy lid removal and serve as a unifying detail.

As with most of my work, the forms are simple so that the material can do the talking. The CONCRETE is the focus around here...

- Although the lid fits well, it does not provide a permanent airtight seal. I suggest using 100% silicone for this.


**Slight variations (dark patches in light colored concrete, or lighter patches in dark concrete) and texture are inherit in concrete and should be expected. I have tried to express this accurately through my photography.
